Payments
When you reserve a parcel, we email you an invoice for the $298 down payment and document fee from payments@lotvestors.com. The invoice is paid through our invoicing service on its own secure pages. We never see or store your full card number; the invoicing service handles it under its own privacy policy.
Contact
Questions about this policy: use the contact form.
How this website actually works with your information
The sections above are the policy in general terms. This section explains, in plain English, exactly what happens with your information on VacantFloridaLand.com, because the site does a few specific things (online reservations, forms, an on-site assistant) that deserve a specific explanation.
When you reserve a parcel
Clicking Reserve on a parcel page asks for your name, email address, mobile phone, and how you would like to make your monthly payments. We store that in our own private admin system so we can prepare your Purchase Agreement and Contract for Deed and contact you about it. The payment itself is taken by our invoicing service on its own secure pages. We never see, receive, or store your full card number; we receive only a confirmation that the invoice was paid, the last four digits of the card where the service provides them, and the email address you used. The service's handling of your card details is governed by its own privacy policy. If a reservation is started but not paid, we keep the name and contact details you entered so we can follow up if you asked us to, and we remove them on request.
When you send a form
The contact form and the questions box on parcel pages go to our private lead inbox and to our email. We use them to answer you and for nothing else. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked a question. Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person and not a bot; Turnstile may set a short-lived cookie or read basic browser information to do that, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The on-site assistant
The chat assistant in the corner of the site answers questions from the content of this website. The conversation is stored so we can review the answers it gave and correct anything wrong. If you type your name, email, or phone into the chat, it is treated like a form submission and lands in the same private lead inbox. Please do not put card numbers or other financial details into the chat; there is never a reason to.
Cookies and analytics
The public pages of this site do not set a login cookie or a tracking cookie of our own. If we enable a web analytics service, it may set its own cookies to measure visits in aggregate; we do not use analytics data to identify individual people. Your browser can be set to refuse cookies and the site will still work, including reservations.
Emails from us about your reservation, your contract, or your question are sent through a transactional email provider from our own address. You will not receive newsletters or promotional email from us unless you separately ask for them, and any such email would include an unsubscribe link.
How long we keep things
Reservation and contract records are kept for as long as the contract is in force and afterwards for as long as tax and legal record keeping requires. Questions are kept until they are resolved and then periodically cleared. Chat conversations are kept for review and cleared on a rolling basis.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. The quickest way is the contact form. We will confirm your identity before releasing or changing anything.
Where to read the rest
The owner financing terms explain the contract itself, how it works explains the timeline, and the terms and conditions cover the rules for using this site. Questions about any of them are welcome.
What is in a reservation record
For each paid reservation we keep the buyer's name, email address, phone number, the monthly payment method chosen, the parcel reserved, the amount paid, the payment reference, the date and time the terms were agreed, and the network address the reservation came from. The last item exists so that a disputed charge can be shown to have come from the buyer's own connection. We do not keep card numbers, bank account numbers, or Social Security numbers from a reservation; if a monthly payment method later needs bank details, those are collected separately and stored only where the payment provider requires them.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, the administration area is password protected and separate from the public site, and the reservation inbox is visible only to the people who prepare contracts. Payments are handled entirely by our invoicing service, so card details never touch our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but the parts of the process that carry money are handled by companies whose whole business is securing them.
Sharing with third parties, specifically
To be concrete about who else sees your information: our invoicing service sees what it needs to take the payment; SignNow sees your name and email address to deliver the contract for signature; Cloudflare sees ordinary web traffic to protect the site and its forms; our email and hosting providers carry the messages and pages. Each of these acts on our instructions and under its own privacy commitments. We do not sell your information, we do not rent lists, and we do not share your details with other land sellers or marketers. If a court or government agency requires disclosure, we comply with the law.
Do Not Track and California residents
Because the public site does not track visitors across other websites, there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to switch off; we treat every visitor the same way. California residents have the right to know what personal information we hold, to ask for it to be deleted, and to be free from discrimination for asking. The same request route applies: the contact page or contact form.
